This lamp is the first product I ever designed. After tackling different design challenges in studio, I wanted to infuse abstractions of my identity and let personal expression lead the form of my design.

The strings symbolize my connection to music and the outdoors. After filtering through iterations of knots and patterns, the final design allows an array of golden light to shine and induces a feeling of serenity.
